FabricCashmere

Fill your hearts with merriment and glee of the culture you come from, with a handwoven Kashmiri Pashmina transformed into a lavish scarf to impart your everyday winter ensembles a stunning tryst. From acquiring pure Himalayan Cashmere up until the final weaving of the Pashmina scarves, all of it is a laborious process indeed. Taking about three days for an artisan to meticulously weave one pashmina, our hand woven pieces are timeless & classic. The grandeur of the handmade Pashminas is a result of the amalgamation of years of art, heritage & dedication by the artisans. • Handwoven in Kashmir • 100% Grade A Cashmere • Guaranteed Authenticity • Worldwide Shipping Our pure cashmere scarves are hand woven on the traditional wooden looms by an artisan which is also referred in India as pashmina scarves. It takes about 3 days for a single cashmere scarf to be crafted. We use the finest cashmere fibre from the Himalayas in the spring / summer months by carefully combing out the fur of the changthangi goats. The changthangi goats are known to produce the finest cashmere fibre. This fibre is then carded, combed & spun into yarns to be woven into the cashmere scarves. The art of weaving cashmere is centuries old & has been passed down through the generations in these artisan families. Our cashmere scarves are woven using the age old diamond weave of the twill tapestry technique of weaving. The diamond weave lends our scarves a fluid drape & a soft touch, both of which are the main characteristics of a handwoven cashmere scarf. We appreciate that you expect the finest quality of Pashmina from us. So we follow a stringent quality-testing approach on every single piece that we produce. Our Pashminas go through an inflexible testing procedure at the Craft Development Institute (CDI) of Srinagar, the only fully-focused Pashmina lab in India. After testing our Pashminas come with lab reports, fibre tests, name of product and artisan and product life and durability. We guarantee the purity and authenticity of our products. We are 100% sure about our products being handwoven from pure Cashmere yarn. If you are not satisfied with the product, or if it is proven that any of our claims are false, you can easily return it to us with a full refund. In the modern era where fast fashion has become a whirring concept, people have compromised with low quality, instant production, and accepted degradation that it causes to the environment. To lower the harmful impact of fast fashion fads on the planet, kashweave produces environment friendly, sustainable wraps that last for generations. Our products are made from natural Cashmere fibre, dyed with non toxic dyes and use water conservation methods for the final wash. In addition to taking care of the environment, kasweave makes sure that products are handcrafted by artisans who use traditional artisan skills and organic Cashmere yarn to produce ethereal pieces. As a mark of honour and a token of gratitude, we donate 5% of our proceeds to the artisan community to improve their livelihood and standards of living.
